looking for holiday party venues

i'm from a non-profit organization and we're looking for a venue to have a holiday party on a thursday night. we're going to have about 300 people and our budget for just the place is $2000. does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you looking for the $2000 to include food/drink? I mean, your budget allows for under $7 per person. I can't imagine that going too far at all. Maybe a church or school (gym) would let you use the space and you could do buffet with trays of Italian food. Or potluck.
