Great Seafood and Fish Restaurants in Toronto

I'm desperate for a special, delicious seafood/fish meal. I want to try Malena's, but it's closed on Mondays! I'm not picky about location or price — I just want spectacular food and solid service.

        1. I like both Starfish and Chiado but prefer Starfish because it is more casual which is more to my liking,

          1. For a change, O'Mei on Hwy#7 offers spectacular ' live' seafood and fish cooked Chinese style!! Especially the giant lobster cooked 3-4 ways!!

Thanks so much! We went to Starfish and really enjoyed it. I had the pan seared red mullet for my appetizer, and the pickerel for my main course. Both were delicious. My husband had the smoked whitefish cakes — I had a bit and they were amazing. I had severe app envy. And the lobster for his main course, which was also great. The service was warm and attentive and I really liked the vibe of the place. We didn't exactly order with a budget in mind, but the bill was a bit of a shocker when it arrived. Oh well, it was a special occasion, and the meal certainly did not disappoint!

Thanks so much for all these recommendations, everyone!

I agree, Starfish is good but pricey. Next time, check out Oyster Boy on W Queen W.

Good food, good vibe, and reasonable prices.

I prefer Rodney's on Temperance to Oyster Boy for oysters, but also for their cooked food. Fresher, better quality fish, and a kitchen staff with a more subtle hand.
