Hello fellow Chowhounds!
Can anyone suggest a (reasonably) kid-friendly resturant near the ROM for Saturday night for a group of 10? I can think of plenty of places, most of which are either great for adults only and waayy expensive....

Thanks guys!

If your party enjoys Chinese Dynasty on the south side of Bloor just east of the ROM is a good option. Good quality Chinese and there are always families dining there.

I thought that was a rumour. If they did end up closing I wish I would have got one last visit in!

If you're going on the early side either the Bedford Academy or the Duke of York might work (both on Prince Arthur). Neither are particularly glam, but food is decent, both have pretty outside space, and I always think of pubs as reasonably family friendly unless it is late at night at the rowdies have taken over.

Second the recs for both Dynasty and Pho Hung - both reasonably inexpensive and very kid friendly. If you want something a bit more upscale, but not off the charts, there's also Studio Cafe inside the Four Seasons. Or The Host for Indian on Prince Arthur.

After the ROM take a stroll through Yorkville to the Coffee Mill restaurant.

Pho Hung is the best option for kids and groups....providing you have eaters that are used to more than meat and potatoes. My kid loves the action and chows on spring rolls and pho like a pro when we dine there. he quick service really helps with little ones.
