Great Steak Dinner in Knoxville?

Looking to treat our son to a nice steak dinner in Knoxville for his 21st birthday. Not really looking for Ruth's Chris-type chain. Would like a nice restaurant though, not too casual. Have read reviews, good and not-so-good, on Regas. Looks ok, but I just don't know. Suggestions?

For a casual atmosphere, great desserts and local flavor, try a steak at Litton's. They do more than just hamburgers

I have dined multiple times at Regas, ye Olde Steakhouse, and The Butcher Shop over the last 20 plus years and never had a bad meal at any of them.

Ye Olde Steakhouse has amazing steak. Don't be fooled by the exterior, this was possibly the best steak I've ever tasted.

The Peerless Restaurant is your best choice. They serve lighter fare as well as seafood and steaks in a nice atmosphere for dinner only. The Butcher Shop is part of a small chain I think and Ye Old Steakhouse is expensive.

The Butcher Shop has very good steaks serving dinner only. Ye Old Steakhouse is even better IMO.
