Paleteria Fernandez in Mamaroneck!

I haven't gone in yet, but it's open.

These are the best popsicles around.

I tried the avocado to try something different and I liked it a lot! It's definitely different and if you're someone who likes a really sweet ice cream, this won't do it for you, but it was very good.

Totally agree scharffenberger. If you haven't already tried it I recommend you give the lucuma a go. Lucuma is an exotic fruit from Peru that can be described as having the flavor of sweet potato and maple but to my family's palates it is very reminiscent of a rich butterscotch. In any case, it's delicious.

Of course so are the mamey, chongo, dulce de leche, rice pudding, pistachio, cookies n cream....

So delish! I got the Strawberry milk bar. its like 2 bucks for one popsicle... I tried the tamarind one or something. It was one of the water based ones. Not a big fan. But all the creamy ones will get tried in the near future!

Try the banana water-based one if it appeals to you. It's amazingly rich and creamy.

Lots going on there today--a tent outside with a live radio show, lots of people, lots of paletas being consumed. Seemed to me very much the same as in Port Chester, just a bit bigger and shinier. Great.

There go my hopes of keeping this place my little secret.

As long as the word is already out, the frozen fruit bars are just wonderful. Hard to pick a favorite: mango (frozen in orange juice-- divine!), cantaloupe, passion fruit, strawberry, strawberry & cream (a stand-out among stand-outs), watermelon, plum (prune), fruit cocktail, banana, dulce de leche, rice pudding, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Chocolate covered bananas on a stick and the bananas have actual flavor!

Haven't gotten around to the shakes yet but would like to hear from those that have.

Is this new? I remember there was another popsicle place before...

New to Mamaroneck. There is one in Port Chester.
