re: scharffenberger
Totally agree scharffenberger. If you haven't already tried it I recommend you give the lucuma a go. Lucuma is an exotic fruit from Peru that can be described as having the flavor of sweet potato and maple but to my family's palates it is very reminiscent of a rich butterscotch. In any case, it's delicious.
Of course so are the mamey, chongo, dulce de leche, rice pudding, pistachio, cookies n cream....

Lots going on there today--a tent outside with a live radio show, lots of people, lots of paletas being consumed. Seemed to me very much the same as in Port Chester, just a bit bigger and shinier. Great.

re: spa
There go my hopes of keeping this place my little secret.
As long as the word is already out, the frozen fruit bars are just wonderful. Hard to pick a favorite: mango (frozen in orange juice-- divine!), cantaloupe, passion fruit, strawberry, strawberry & cream (a stand-out among stand-outs), watermelon, plum (prune), fruit cocktail, banana, dulce de leche, rice pudding, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Chocolate covered bananas on a stick and the bananas have actual flavor!
Haven't gotten around to the shakes yet but would like to hear from those that have.
