College & Bathurst Restaurants name

  • 9

Hi all,

I keep bicycling by a restaurant on the south side of college street, it looks persian or morrocan
ajlwash?? I never seem to get the name right as I keep trying to find reviews of it anywhere and to no avail.

Can anyone help me with the name of the restaurant? The type of cuisine it is? and if anyone has eaten there...what's it like?

Thanks

      hi there,

nope I've been to pomegranate. It's across the street from them.

    2. Hmm.. Must be new. I checked Google Street view for you and didn't see anything like that. I was thinking maybe Pomegranate or the restaurant beside it but if you have ruled that out, then... not sure:

Yes I'd say it's new....but I figured the chowhounders would be the first to know about it. I haven't had time to stop and lock my bike up to walk in and find out what they offer. But if anyone here lives close by...please report! I've had less time to investigate restaurants since having a child!

      2. Yep, new place (odd, thought I posted in this thread already) called Atash? Awash? It's got very scripted font, so it's hard for me to read whizzing by in the car... looks very modern from the front.

It's quite a nice sign out front. The menu taped to the window is less than inspiring, though. Some panini-type sandwiches with names like Mr. Porky (or something like that), and random other things like pizza and humous. The menu did not make me want to give it a try.

hmm if you posted it earlier I can't find it.. anyhow, it doesn't sound it has impressed anyone yet anyhow

          2. Came across this write up tonight on BlogTo about it. Not much of a review, but gives some more info at least:

Basically it is a hookah cafe that serves some food
