Reception venues in Toronto and Ottawa

Hi -
Can anyone help with suggestions for venues in downtown Toronto and in Ottawa for evening receptions (about 80 - 100 people) in October. I'm looking for value, quality and uniqueness. (who isn't)

In Ottawa, I would suggest the various national museums/galleries. The National Gallery, Museum of Nature, War Museum and Museum of Civilization (across the river in Gatineau). I've been to events at all but the Museum of Nature which just re-opened after a major renovation. All four have rooms of various sizes and prices.
