Iberian Pig

  • 4

Thinking of going to Iberian Pig when we're in town for a Braves game next month. The menu elicits a Pavolvian response. What do y'all think and what's especially good?

  1. Not a bad spot but it really just depends on what you're looking for and where you've been before. Servings sizes are good. The area that it's in has several middle of the road places that could suffice as well.

    Another worth looking at: http://www.leonsfullservice.com/index...

    1. We had a really great time with a small group of 5. The appetizer that stood out the most were the pork cheek tacos, they are small but awesome.
The best entree of the night was the Cabrito Carbonara it was outstanding. The Chicken and the pork tenderloin were very good too.
It's really a fun place to spend an evening.
Hope you have a great time!

If we go to Iberian Pig, I'd be there for namesake dishes: like the pork cheek tacos, the braised pork belly, charcuteria and/or albondigas, while my wife would go for the vegetarian food. The concept of tapas was appealing, along the lines of the great offerings at Modesto's in St. Louis.
Leon's Full Service also looks like a good option (mmmmm; Benton's ham).

      2. I really liked Iberian Pig both times I've been there. Good food, wine, service. They seem to really be conscious of the ingredients; one time they pulled mussels off the menu because they didn't look good when they came in that day, and the same with another item (but can't remember what specifically) - I'd recommend it.
