Can you be a little more specific? Lunch, dinner, budget?

Probably depends on: what kind of client, how much you are willing to spend, and how far you are willing to drive, etc etc..
But here are some options :
Italian food-
Alessio Restaurant ·
(818) 709-8393
Food from Argentina - though it's a somewhat small, neighborhood place.
Pampas Cafe
17003 Chatsworth Street
Granada Hills, CA 91344-5845
(818) 832-0700
There are also some places by the Northridge mall- Macaroni Grill, Wood Ranch, CPK.

Not positive, but believe Pampas was closed late last year or early this year.

If they closed, that would be a shame. Perhaps they were just renovating it? Their yelp page seems to be up, and the reviews are pretty recent as well. When I called today, they told me their hours were from 11AM-9PM.

Lunch please and don't mind spending a bit.

Where did you finally take your client? Your Original Post was in July, 2010. I'm curious as to where you finally went and what your reaction was to your selection. Thanks.

Can't think of anything "great" in Granada Hills, except for maybe Vegetable Delight which is an amazing vegetarian chinese joint. Ali Baba Persian is good, but it's in a dreary mini mall.

La Affair on Sepulveda in Mission Hills is a nice restuarant...good for business meetings, and clandestine meetins alike.

If you want to impress and your budget isn't a major factor, I would suggest the Odyssey Restaurant. Yes, it is in Granada Hills. The view is stupendous and the salad bar goes on and on. Go for lunch and not dinner as the last time I was there I wasn't pleased with the razzle-dazzle they pulled. The lights were so low, I wasn't able to read the check when it came. I haven't been back since. But I do recommend it for lunch or Saturday or Sunday Brunch.

The most consistently good restaurant in GH is A&W BBQ Seafood, a Chinese place. The Odyssey is okay, but the menu is uninspired and you're mostly paying for the view, which is stunning.

A&W is great for lunch. They serve Dim Sum Hong Kong Style. I don't know if I would take a client there for a business lunch. Busy and Noisey. But that is only my opinion.
