  1. Note that Mandalay Bay is part of a resort that encompasses THEhotel, The Four Season's and Mandalay Place. Best thing for you is to check out their websites to see if any of the restaurants on property will serve your needs.

    1. You can take the tram to Excalibur and then cross the street to MGM. L'Atelier and Craftsteak in MGM are both excellent. I don't hear much about it on CH, but Rick Moonen's RM Seafood in Mandalay Bay is great and their tasting menu is a value. For lunch I like Border Grill (near pool at Mandalay) and Burger Bar (walkway between Mandalay and Luxor). I've never been to Aureole but hear it's good. The rest of the MB restaurants I wouldn't both with (China Grill, Stripsteak, Red Square, Lupo, Fleur de Lys are all overpriced and/or mediocre IMO). The cafe at THEhotel does a great (expensive) breakfast, but that's the only meal I've had there. Sunset drinks at Mix are a must, but I'd find a different spot for dinner.

I second Burger Bar. Really good!

I noticed on there are several discounted gift certificates for purchase to several of the restaurants in Mandalay Bay. Can anyone recommend which ones are the best to purchase.

        2. Is there a reason you need to stay close to MB? Vegas has such great restaurants up and down the Strip and if you can't walk it, cabs are not bad. I would venture towards Venetian/Palazzo for steak or Italian. Try Delmonico or Cut. We also like Enoteca San Marco for less expensive meals.
