Need recs in Brooklyn for a 30th birthday party for 30-40 people..

Hi Everyone,

I'm throwing my boyfriend a 30th birthday party in October. There will be about 30-40 people and I want to have an open bar, or at least an open bar for 2 hours. I don't want a sit down dinner, but tapas and food should be available. Dancing and music is a must (whether we provide the DJ or they have their own). My budget is about $2-3K..

Does anyone have any recs or advice? I really appreciate it!

How about Bubby's in DUMBO, they have a nice upstairs room with great views at night. I was there for a party for 50 and it was a great environment for this size group. If you'll have dancing then the size should be right, but you have to ask them about their music policy.
