Sir Edmond Halley's (Charlotte) closing?

Say it ain't so! But that's what I heard. I have so many memories from there over the past 14 years.

    Yep. Charlotte business journal is reporting it. Already out of food and will close when the booze is gone.

        I wonder if it in part fell victim to the NC smoking ban. It's been pretty empty the last few times we've gone in after movies. Also, there are a lot of really good restaurants very close to it (Montford) and the new Big Ben's is schedule to reopen in Southend soon. Like our recent sushi explosion, Charlotte has no shortage of Irish and British pubs.
