Suggestions for Paris Saturday lunch menu needed (preferably Michelin-starred...)

My wife and I will be in Paris this weekend, and we are looking for a Saturday lunch at a a really classy place, but without breaking the bank. So the idea was to pick one of the moon-priced restaurants that however offers a great lunch menu under EUR 100. I was thinking Le Meurice, where the lunch menu at EUR 78 looks quite nice, but it seems to be closed during this period?

Any suggestions? Our hotel is near Place Vendome, so being close to that would be an advantage, but not necessary.

All hints are much appreciated!

What does the Great G care about breaking the bank?

Thanks a lot, I had missed Le Cinq. All the reviews sound pretty good. Have you possibly had a meal there recently? Is this really a strong candidate for a third star? That would be amazing value.

The restaurant probably has too many problems to solve to reach the third star very soon, but there is no doubt that the chef has enough talent for that, and, even on a bad food day, you're pretty much guaranteed to have a great time.

Make sure to have the lunch menu (nicer to your wallet and every bit as good as the more expensive options), and to focus on ingredient based dishes (stay away from the Osso Bucco for instance).

I think Kerstin and I are free for lunch on saturday: she wants us to go furniture shopping.

Great, I just booked a table for Saturday. Quite excited about the place!
