Advice re Bagel World bagels

Hello Toronto! I moved to Calgary a few months ago and have been DYING for Bagel World bagels (they have no decent bagels out here....trust me).

My parents were in for the weekend and were kind enough to bring me several dozen. They bought them fresh. Packed them tight in plastic bags and I threw them into my freezer.

My problem is that when I warm them up in my oven...they come out totally stale!!! I know they aren't stale. None of the other bread in my freezer comes out stale.What am I doing wrong?

If they are any Bagel World lovers on this forum I would really appreciate your help!!!!

Never been to bagel World, never even been to Canada, but what I do with my bagels from my fav bagel shop is I just nuke them for 30 seconds or so and then i have yummy, warm bagels.

Use your toaster to desired doneness

On your next batch, slice them in 1/2 , (and consider scooping) before freezing

Can't slice them as they are the flat bagles. And they are too big to fit in a toaster.

When I used my oven in Toronto on the frozen ones they turned out fine. Could it be the change in altitude here or the dryness?

The flat bagels go stale very quickly. I put them in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds then cut to the appropriate size and toast.

I once bought the day old flat bagels and they did not fair as well as the fresh bagels using the microwave & toast method.

I suggest wrapping in paper towel before nuking. Helps keep them from going stale.
