Willamette Valley eats!

We will be spending one or two nights in the Willamette Valley for exploring some of the wineries. We expect to stay in the Newburg/McMinnville area and would love one or two recommendations for an outstanding dinner. Any thoughts...or even if you know a terrific B & B we'd appreciate it.

My favorites in McMinnville are Nick's and Thistle. I've heard mixed things about Jory Restaurant at the Allison Inn & Spa in Newberg, but it seems worth a try. Probably one of the fancier options, as this property is positioning itself as an upscale destination resort.

I would go to Jory @ the Allison Inn & Spa, you can book on opentable. :)

I guess I have to differ here. It's a lovely restaurant, but in all our meals in the area, it had the most disappointments. Farm to Fork, Tina's (both in Dundee 10 min down the road) and Painted Lady had better food.
