lunch downtown between sheraton and art museum
Any lunch suggestions between downtown Sheraton hotel and Denver art museum with child which doesn't eat pizza. I think there is a restaurant near the museum. Is h Burger or osteria
Marco in the right direction nearby? Any other suggestions?

Well, you're hardly far away from tons of options downtown. Even if you don't have a car you can take the 16th St. Mall trolley thingy. Does it have to literally specifically be between the two?

Well, on a map, it looked like going to Larimer Square area (Osteria Marco or H Burger), was going out of our way. We will have just arrived in town after a very early morning flight from the East Coast, so I was thinking that anything near the hotel after we check in would soothe cranky child and husband. Chances are all our meal times would be off because of the time change.
At your suggestion, we are going to Rioja for an early dinner, so something on the lighter side would be nice, but I need to placate DS who is 7. I did a search and so far I have come up with Mad Greens or the trucks on 16th Street, but I didn't know where we could sit with the latter, or if they were around on a Saturday.

Why not eat AT the museum, at Palettes: http://www.ktrg.net/palettes/index.html
there is also a Mad Greens right there.

re: bawc
It is in the opposite direction, but again, not far. A mile tops.
That said, neither OM nor HB would be light if you order right. :)
There is a pub in the Sheraton, Katie Mullen's, which is OK. There's another pub right near the DAM called Pints Pub which is a lot of fun—again, food's OK, but the scotch list is legendary (well over 200). Cask conditioned beers too.

re: tatamagouche
DH would love the beer and scotch, but not really my thing, however if the food is OK, I can deal. But is it appropriate with a child along?
I don't want to eat in the Sheraton unless we are really starving, I always prefer to go out.
I didn't realize Palette's was open for lunch. A bit pricey, but worth it if the food is good---and location would be great. Any recent reviews? or of Mad Greens in DAM?
