Affordable BRUNCH in Bolingbrook/Naperville/Lombard/Downers Grove

Hi! I have a group about 20 people and we'd like to do brunch but not have it break the bank! Options include buffets (preferably) or off the menu but something relatively nice. The group includes out-of-town guests as well as anniversary celebrants. I'm looking in the surrounding Chicago burbs including, but not limited to, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Downers Grove, Oak Brook, Lombard, etc!

Restaurants such as Drury Lane and The Clubhouse are nice but the per person price is a little pricey. And, due to our size, I'm hoping to find a place where they can easily accommodate larger groups. Looking to go the weekend of July 31; Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks for the sugestions!!

  1. Allgauer's in Lisle ( http://hiltonlislenaperville.com/menu... ) is always a great brunch, but if the $28 at the Clubhouse ( www.theclubhouse.com/Oakbrook/brunch.cfm ) is too much for you, then the $35 at Allgauer's probably won't work either.

Here's a list of restaurants serving Sunday brunch in the western suburbs; maybe something there will work for you: http://chicago.metromix.com/browse/re...

    1. There's always Papadeaux. Sunday brunch is $16.95. You'd have to go to Golf and Route 53 (basically) but it isn't a BAD drive.

There's always White Fence Farm too in Romeoville - http://pappaspizza.net/images/dyn/men.... They open at noon on Sundays.

I've eaten at their Sunday brunch and it's a good suggestion - not the most lavish brunch in the area, but the food is decent (the seafood is fresh) and it's a great value. We had a group of 13 and they put us in a side room not far from the buffet - not a private room, but it was just fine for our group.

Also note that Pappadeaux has two locations in the area. I ate at the one near Golf and 53 in Arlington Heights. Their other location, in Westmont off 83 between 88 and Ogden, is closer to the area the OP is asking about, but I don't know whether they do Sunday brunch (or if it's the same as the one at their Arlington Heights location).

There is a Pappadeaux at Route 83, just north of Ogden. Probably would be more convenient.

That one does not do the buffet. I called to double check before I posted the Arlington Heights location. :)

        2. Redstone American Grill has a good brunch as well. It is approximately $15 pp and served family style or you can order a la carte....but I suggest the family style...pretty tasty.
