Prepared Foods in orlando, fl

Hi there . I'm new to the message boards and just wanted say hello. I'm somewhat new to the area as i just finished my first year at UCF. I'm looking for a place that sells prepared foods like chicken, tuna, or pasta salads. I lived in south Florida and had no problem finding places like this down there. I wouldn't mind driving 30 minutes if the food was good. I'm looking to places similar to http://www.dorismarket.com/ and http://www.josephsclassicmarket.com/ . I already know about whole foods. Thanks in advance.

Paul

Cavallari Gourmet in Oviedo should have what you want, and wouldn't be too far from the UCF area: http://www.cavallarigourmet.com/

Petty's Meats in Longwood would probably be further from you, but still worth checking out: http://www.pettysmeats.com/

And Fresh Market is in Altamonte Springs, less than ten minutes from Petty's, so you might as well visit both on the same trip: http://www.thefreshmarket.com/stores/...

Awesome! What did you like best from them? I agree that they're all great, but they're all out of my price range, so I almost never buy prepared foods from any of them.

i got some chicken salad and pasta salad from cavallari. it wasnt terribly expensive at all. next time i go there i'll have to try some of the baked potatoes they have.
