Torrington, CT area pre-concert dinner recommendations please.

We'll be going up to the Joan Baez concert Thursday evening at the Warner Theater in Torrington. We'd like to have dinner someplace good, not too fancy and not too expensive. I like seafood but not sushi. Not too happy with the Brewhouse next door last couple of times. Other than those we're pretty open.

Looks like I'm a day late, but next time take a look at Northern Galapagos. We like that place when we visit Torrington.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've wonderd about it. We've often been to George Noujaim's right next door and we like that very much. It's casual but extremetly reasonable and his food is very good.

As it turned out, I remembered, I had a restaurant.com coupon for @ the corner in Litchfield which was convenient for us too. We hadn't tried it before. It was pretty good. We split a large chopped salad, my wife had Glazed Flakey Sea Bass over
picked lobster, kalamata olives, white beans, garlic, onion, lobster herb broth, topped with frizzled leeks & sweet potato crisps. I had lobster mac and cheese. The bill with one drink each including tax and tip came to $77 but the less the $25 coupon = $52 total. coupon was $2.

So, I think we'll go back, at least with a coupon.
