Vegetarian-friendly Restaurant Week Options?

Dear all,

As a vegetarian, some of my best meals have been eaten in Manhattan (Kajitsu, Gobo, Northern Spy Food Co, 10 Downing, The Green Table, Otto and such) So I'm not a food snob but I'm looking for flavorful, preferably local food. I will confess that I am often underwhelmed by the paltry vegetarian options at most places. So far DBGM seems the most promising. Suggestions welcome!

I'm curious--what vegetarian dishes did you eat at 10 Downing? Their menu seems to be pretty meat-heavy.

We went there for brunch this Spring when Shuna Lydon (eggbeater) was the pastry chef. Had the basket of breads (they let us pick if we wanted a sweet or savory selection) and the dutch pancake. It was all very good. Full disclosure - we were there almost exactly at 10:00 am and caught them before things got super-busy. Absolute value for money. The coffee was fresh, the service was unhurried, and the whole experience was totally charming.

I find it's always better to just get a la cart, since the veggie entree for R. Week is generally meh.
