Looking for Saturday Morning Farmers Market in the LAX/Seal Beach Area
I am coming in from out of town and will be having Sunday Brunch at a family members house and would like to bring something tasty. Are there any farmers markets in that area on Saturday Mornings? If so any great items to be picking up this time of year?
Thanks,
Brian
I would say the Santa Monica FM is your best bet.

If you are looking to be closer to LAX/Seal Beach, I vote or Torrance. It's not SM but is a pretty good one. It's a wealth of riches this time of year. And you can pick up a Big Mista sandwich to eat on the way home.

I like the Torrance market as well. Saturday is really good, and the local produce is just fantastic this time of year. Food court as well...

The Torrance farmer's market is great. I go most Saturdays. Right now, delicious peaches and nectarines are everywhere. Excellent heirloom tomatoes also started showing up a week or two ago. And yes, if you want to pick up some prepared food in addition to produce definitely get Big Mista's perfect pulled pork sandwich.

Hmm, Big Mista's pulled pork, I have never been impressed with any pork items by Big Mista. I always stick to his brisket.

That's funny, while I've tried the brisket a couple of times and enjoyed it, I always go back to the pulled pork...LOVE that pulled pork. Although I didn't like the pork ribs that much, just the pulled pork. In my mind, pulled pork > brisket >> pork ribs.

I throw in my vote for Torrance FM as well. It is open on Saturday mornings, and it is just about equidistant from LAX and Seal Beach. This perfectly satisfies all your requirements. It's also pretty big, and there's plenty of parking. Going by the long list posted above of Saturday FMs in Los Angeles County, Long Beach doesn't have one for Saturday, otherwise the location would probably be perfect.
Assuming you're landing at LAX and driving south to Seal Beach, Santa Monica would be counterproductive, as it is about ten miles north of LAX.
The only other option among Saturday morning FMs that isn't a bad drive in a wrong direction would be Gardena. Good luck!!

The address is 2200 Crenshaw Blvd. Torrance, CA 90501

Driving a couple miles south of LAX on Aviation Blvd. and 135th Street is the Del Aire Farmers Market on the Da Vinci High School parking lot. They are open from 9-1 on Saturday. They have an Asian Vegetable Grower there.
You could get on the freeway at Rosecrans Ave. and head down the 405 to Seal Beach.
