Where would you eat in August?
I know, I am beating a 'dead horse'. Of course it is better than eating a 'dead horse'. Although I have never tried horse. Anyway, still looking for suggestings for August 13 -22. We are going on the Wedndsday to Josephine, but otherwise, no plans. Well, where would you go?

Saturday in Le Monde Jean Claude Ribault listed some more open in August:
Quedebon (funky)
Garnier (nice)
Citrus Etoile (if Epie is truly there)
l'Absinthe (I've been disappointed)
Safran at the Hilton-Arc de T (never been)
Chez Andre (ditto)
Zen Garden (Chinese ditto)
Mori Venice bar (just referred someone there but it sure looked still under renovation last Tuesday) -
Spring duh !
All month.
I also just learned that Spring is repeating the lobster sandwich Saturday that it used to do in the old Spring. The gooses-fat-fried French fries were ace.›12 Replies -

re: Parigi
And I just posted my essay/summary of August stuff at http://johntalbottsparis.typepad.com/... - I know we're not supposed to drive traffic to our blogs but it's too long and boring to post here .

Le Mesturet, 1st
L'Ambassade d'Auvergne, 3rd
Aux Lyonnais, 2nd
Le Dome, 14th
Garnier, 8th
Le Petit Retro, 16th
Le Train Bleu, 12thBasically slim pickins. Many places even decide at the last moment to close up for a couple of weeks. You can enjoy Paris-Plage, though.

re: Dodo
Don't know whether nor when L'Os à Moëlle is closed during August, but to be honest, I've been twice and never thought it was particularly interesting. It's not bad at all, but there are way better options at a similar price point (I have my opinion on the subject, but as already not answering the OP, so...)
