Takeout in Midtown East 1st Av/ 55th st

I'm moving to Midtown East for 5 months and there doesn't seem to be good takeout in the area. Would appreciate any tips. Good Thai would be awesome but anything good and inexpensive would do.

Delivery options also needed. Thank you!

  1. Panda, Chinese, 54th & 1st. Tal Bagels (great smoked salmon), 1st bet. 53 & 54. Angelo's Pizza, 2nd & 55th. Taksim, Turkish, 2nd bet. 54 & 55.

    Tal Bagels

    1. Luscious Thai on 61st and 1st (right across from Bed, Bath, and Beyond) should deliver to you - they're pretty decent, as far as takeout Thai. There's also a good falafel place that just opened up on the other side of the street - I think it's called Jerusalem Grill (large portions, fresh, and cheap).

      1. Mee Noodles at 2nd and 49th.
Btw, and fyi, I noticed that a link appears at the bottom of my post and the link is for a branch of Mee Noodles on 9th Ave..
