weekday deals?

Fellow hounds,

I am home all week enjoying a summer staycation, and it occurred to me just now that there must be dining deals to be had out there that I might be more inclined to take advantage of while I'm home and not working. Things like a Sunday night prix fixe or a Monday night family style dinner or a weekday lunch.

So far I haven't found a lot, but I have uncovered a few:

* $1 tapas from 5 - 10 PM every night at the bar at Sel de la Terre
* $1 burgers at the Metropolitan Club
* Gravy Sunday at Prezza, and
* the Beat the Rush menu nightly at the Aquitaine Group restaurants (see http://www.aquitainegroup.com/dining-...).

Anyone else know of good deals to be had during the week?

Thanks!

BK

Actually 7 days a week. Looks like that may be exclusively at the Natick location. http://www.seldelaterre.com/natick/ev...

Darn it; I was looking at their website and noticed nothing was stated at the Boston location. I am sure they'd be swamped.

    2. More deals listed here: http://bostonchefs.com/news/tag/bosto.... Still love some tips from Chowhound. Perhaps good lunch menus that I might otherwise overlook? All you can eat wings? That kind of stuff.

        Amazing website. Love it.

      2. Uni has a Maki Monday -- "all you can eat" for $32. I've never been, and would love to hear from someone whether that appears to be a good deal, given that Uni is better known for sashimi etc.

        1. What's the deal with gravy Sundays? I didn't see anything on Prezza's website, but would be very interested to hear the details. Thanks.

Agreed! Their Website is terrible, and there's spotty, limited information elsewhere. I'd love to hear more from someone who's been, but here are some links for further research:

          2. Tapeo on Newbury $5 tapas @ the bar Sun-Fri http://www.tapeo.com/#/Home/

Rendezvous on Mass Ave in Cambridge $5 tapas @ bar Monday 5 -10pm and Sunday Prix Fixe — three courses: $38 http://www.rendezvouscentralsquare.com/

Green St on Green St in Cambridge Wed night is Taco night and I think Sun is/will be Oyster & Stout night http://www.greenstreetgrill.com/

            1. Bumping this up to see what's out there now. Looking for cheap eats after work tomorrow (Friday) night.

              Thanks!
