Red Bank Farmer's Market this morning

What a treat! I found some heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, corn, melons, peaches, made this morning mozzarella and beautiful breads. Nice crowd too.

Then I walked a few blocks and had a nice mixed bag of tacos for breakfast at North of the Border.

I said it before and I'll say it again - I love Red Bank. Had a very nice and reasonably priced dinner at Red this week also. That is a great three course prix fixe menu.

      seal,
sounds fantastic! What time does the farmers market open on Sunday and is it in the Galleria?

It is in the Galleria and it was in full swing when I got there at 9:30ish, but I am not sure about the hours. I'm betting some other hound will know and post it later though.

I'm pretty sure it's from 9 to 2. The pork from Cherry Grove Farm is, albeit pricey, quite a treat.

Get there early, i.e. by 10:00 or so, or a lot of the best stuff may be gone! Also, be prepared to walk a bit, as finding parking in the Galleria can be difficult.

Seal, glad you found it. I've been going almost weekly for a couple years and only been disappointed when my favorite vendors sold out of something I wanted.
