Best night of the week in Paris?

What is the best night of the week in Paris for a Big Night Out (including a late sitting at a good restaurant)? Should I arrange this on a Thursday or Friday night?

Best for what? Friday and saturday are très très busy, I would stay home on those nights. Tue-Wed-Thu have the most going for them, with most restaurants open.

Thanks souphie. We will have some drinks in the early evening, then maybe go to Guy Savoy for a 10pm dinner (if I can book this) and then some bars afterwards. We are a group of friends who will have left their young children with the Grandparents and want a bit of a blowout followed by a rare sleep-in.

Savoy is actually probably the only three star restaurant where you can go late (Others might do 10pm as well, but only Savoy does the third half-times at 11pm, that I know of).
