Getting a seat for 1 at Pizzeria Bianco

Tomorrow (Saturday) I will be visiting a friend in Glendale, in the afternoon, and would like to try Pizzeria Bianco on my way out of the Phoenix area.

The last time I went (with two other people) I arrived at 6:30 and we couldn't get a table. If I show up alone between 5 and 6, am I likely to be seated within an half-hour, or does a line form before opening?

  1. The line forms before opening. However, since you're dining solo, you might be able to fly under the radar to a certain extent and get a seat at the counter. You'll probably still have to wait a while, though.

    1. Here's a recent thread with requests for tips for a solo diner, and his report back:

Pizzeria Bianco- elusive prey in sight...

      1. In the summer when a cool afternoon is only 110, the lines at PB are generally shorter and the crowd does not really begin to form until its closer to 4 (than during the winter when the crowds gather at around 3 or 3:30 ish).

So as a solo diner, if you show up at 5 you might be able to get a seat at the bar within an hour, if things fall right for you.

Show up at 6, and you're probably looking at maybe going home sans pizza.

        Good luck.
