HI. looking for a nice spot for great food and great atmosphere to celebrate 10 years. Will be staying in Bethany Beach area (not proper). I have been visiting Rehoboth Beach and Lewis for years but have not really done the Bethany BEach, Fenwick, OC thing so thought there might be a nice new spot to enjoy further south.

Saw some nice suggestions for overall places but want to narrow down to GREAT for our occasion. (suggestions included SEDONA, Defabos to name some.....??)

We enjoy CAFE SOLE and PLANET X in rehoboth as an example, but open to anything.......new/different.........and even though its a nice occasion, it doesn't have to be stuffy......

Also, if it means some travel outside of BETHANY, that's fine too..

Thanks for your help.

In Rehoboth: http://www.ristorantezebra.us/. I think this is a very nice special occasion restaurant. They've got wonderful Italian food and a wonderful wine list. It's particularly nice in the summer if you can be seated on the porch.

Nantucket in Fenwick Island is pretty nice. Sedona mentioned above is a good choice. I would also consider Patsy's a block away. It's really good and the atmosphere on the patio is great if the weather is pleasant.

Blue Coast, Sedona or DeFebo in Bethany are all great

In Rehoboth you might try Blue Moon. IMHO over many years it has consistently provided some of the best food on shore and the service is always very professional. It would be great for a special occasion dinner. I would not recommend Fager's for food as I have found their kitchen and service to be erratic. Great place for a drink at sunset though.

Oh, puhleeeeze, don't bother with DeFebo. We went...even with a reservation had to wait over 30 minutes...then were seated next to the kitchen. I don't even remember what we ordered, only that we had water served which tasted weird and lemony. When we told the waitress (which made one of her guest appearances)...she said, "Oh! The pitcher must have had 7-Up in it...or the glasses did." Uh...hellloooooo??????

My husband has dined at Fager's Island in Ocean City recently and loved the entire experience. There is a Ruth's Chris in Ocean City, but no view.
I think Bluecoast would be nice for a special occasion.
