In search of the perfect Red Velvet

Quick request- has anyone had mind-blowingly fantastic Red Velvet cake (in either cupcake or traditional form) in D.C.? Must be available either tomorrow or Saturday. I know this is odd, but I have a friend coming to town and it's far too hot to bake! Thanks for any suggestions!
