Hearth??

I am having a hard time getting any decent reservation times for our top restaurant picks for next week. I just read something about a pig roast every Tues at Hearth. It sounds good- would this be a recommendation as a back- up?? Thanks.

It's a very good restaurant but I don't think they are doing the pig roasts any more, that was last year? If you go, make sure to get the gnocchi and roasted mushrooms.

They are starting the pig roasts on Tuesdays through August...

Oh, they brought them back again? You'd think there would be something on the Hearth web site about that.

I saw it in NY magazine. It is also noted on Open Table when you make a reservation on a Tuesday. Is this something worth trying?

It's fun, it's good eating, and it's a good deal. Is it the best Hearth has to offer? No. but it's definitely a good time and good food.

i might go to hearth this friday. so i wont be able to do the pig roast. but what would u say is the best hearth has to offer? they still ahve their gnocchi but their apple cider doughnuts no longer seem to be on the menu.

The menu changes with the seasons. Right now I'd say get things that are based on seasonal, local ingredients. There are plenty of things on the menu to choose from, all are delicious. I also love their meat entrees - veal, lamb, and the meatballs. Do not miss the gnocchi or the hen of the woods mushrooms.

Hearth is wonderful. And the pig roast is good eatin' and good fun.
