BLT Prime - Need Intel

Has anyone been to the bar at BLT Prime? Is it a nice bar (better than Strip House i hope)? And is it worth the steep prices? May be heading over there tonight.

Excellent steaks, very good side dishes, nice portions, an always consistent menu. Service is always excellent and ALWAYS attentive, never an attitude here. Be warned that you can expect a Mob scene on the weekends after 7 PM, so go early or go during week. But go, and enjoy.

The OP posted in July that s/he is "heading over there tonight." Might you want to concentrate on threads where your input is more timely, so that it's actually useful?

Bar is tiny, maybe 6 or 8 stools and for some reason is always crowded. Walking by the other day noticed a few bar tables that I've never seen before. I'm a big fan of the steaks at BLT Prime, and always get the steak without the herbed butter on top. Prices are pretty much the same as every top tier steakhouse.

Went there last night. Didn't hang at the bar. Twice I've gone in the last 2 months, and twice I had an excellent steak, and meal. It's my go-to steakhouse for ribeye quality, in the city. They have always cooked my steak, and the meals of those I'm with, perfectly.
