Where should we eat in Boothbay Harbor?

We will be in Booth Bay for three nights. We want a lobster shack and inexpensive fun restaurants!, Thanks

  1. We were in Booth Bay Harbor last summer. There are several lobster places, but I can't recall the name of the one we ate at.
For decent, inexpensive fare I can recommend Happy Hour at the Thistle Inn. From 5 to 6 (I think) all drinks and appetizers were half-price.That included top-shelf brands and wines. The appetizers were very good:oysters, seared tuna, a pizza, salads. It was a great deal. I'd check first on the time and what's available this year.

    1. There is a place called Lobsterman's co-op in Boothbay as well as some other very casual lobster shacks. We have eaten at Brown's Wharf & Rocktide, Andrews. They are restaurants & a couple of them have outside decks . Check if they have Lobster specials. The Ebb Tide is very reasonable & serves Breakfast as well as lunch & dinner.

      1. I've always had great meals at the Lobster Dock- his crabcakes were in a 'throwdown' w/ Bobby Flay, but I haven't had them myself.
