Taramosalata in Westchester?

queenbx Jul 14, 2010 11:36 AM

I'm looking for taramosalata in Westchester - preferably northern Westchester. Already tried Turcos in Yorktown Heights - no dice. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Zeytinia in Croton has it. Lefteris and Santorini in Tarrytown serve it, if you'd like to eat it in restaurants or get take out.

I really like Lefteris' taramosalata - both locations (Tarrytown and Mt. Kisco) are good.

By your reference to Turco's I'm guessing you mean from a grocery to purchase in larger amounts and not as an individual appetizer purchased to go from a restaurant. If so, not in Northern Westchester and I'm not certain but Yaranush in White Plains on Central Avenue may have it. They have amazing tzatziki.
