Newport, RI for a girls night!!

Hi Everyone,

I will be going to Newport for a girls night next weekend and was wondering if you could suggest some restaurants for dinner, as well as some bars to go to afterwards. We are looking for the 25-30 year old crowd. We would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!!

You need to at least check out 41 North (the old Christies). Overpriced but just STUNNING. Go and have a drink.

I love Perro Salado. We were there last week and it's wonderful. Inexpensive mexican, pitchers of tasty beverages, lovely patio, or if you prefer indoors it seems like they have lots of different sized dining rooms. The food is awesome and the atmosphere fun.

Head to Scales and Shells for great seafood, Sardella's for good Italian. I'm sure someone will suggest the Red Parrot--I think it's just average but it would probably be good for your group since the menu is large.

Bars--the Rhino Bar is a little clubby, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. I agree that Christie's is a good bar. I like Buskers and O'Briens but then again I like laid-back Irish pubs.

Fluke is great nice food young crowd, Clarke Cooke House right across the street is in that age range. Black Pearl is good but a little older crowd. The Pier is another hot one Good Luck

The Pier is a nice place more your age, My friend lives in Newport and his son usually goes to Christies or the Pier both have good size bars.
