Recommendations around the Gabriel Péri metro, Paris
I'll be staying in Paris for two weeks (July 20 - August 5) with my gf, in an apartment close to the Gabriel Péri metro, in Asnières-sur-Seine, Paris.
I've found lots of great recommendations for the "center" of Paris, but nothing around where we'll be staying.
All recommendations will be appreciated, not just restaurants...
Thanks!!! :)

I think I know why. You have to get on the Metro and come into town, even then, you have to get to the Place de Clichy before you reach striking distance of food.
Levallois is not far by taxi and has several greatr places tho'.›4 Replies-
re: John Talbott
Are you sure, John (glad to hear from you). Looking at city-vox and lots of other internet-based resto criticism sites, I see lots of recs for Asnières, (an old suburb on the conventional métro line) I just couldn't swear by them. And the only place I ever ate in Asnières was a very ordinary working-class Maghrebi men's café, along with a Moroccan friend (who also was good for much more gastronomic places - this was his slumming at a "joint"), but he doesn't live in Paris any more.
