I am hosting a business dinner for about 6 people in the next month or so. I am looking for a restaurant that has a private room or area. Any suggestions?

Try Union League; it is what immediately comes to my mind--they have a few different rooms or The Study at Yale, they have a small meeting room where they could do a dinner as well. Good Luck.

I would dine at Union League but probably would not take a special group to The Study. The food is just not that special.

Leon's also has a room upstairs with a view of the harbor, but it was kind of dark last time I was there (but that was before it changed to Leon's), not sure if it will be too big for what you are looking for. They also may be able to section off an area for private meeting/dining--and parking/access to I-95 is super easy there.

Central Steakhouse (on Orange) has a great cellar wine room. I think Bentara New Haven also on Orange has a back room area as well that's private.
