Restaurants in East New York
....America's Most Wanted?
I'd go to Festac Grill if I were you. It's very close to the Van Sic stop on the J/Z. The best Nigerian food I've had in New York by far. It also carries the added benefit of being able to see where a crew of well-dressed guys with Bluetooth headsets on think up every pyramid scheme to hit the U.S....

Okay, it's confession time. In the past I've actually fed a few film crews either as a caterer or as takeout orderererer.
My experience with that has been that since you're trying to please a large cross-section of people, many or whom will likely not be all that adventurous when it comes to food, it's best to play it safe and go with something like sandwiches and salads, Italian-American, Mexican or possibly takeout Chinese (if there's anything decent in nearby).
Do you know of anything like that in East New York?

Ok you're stuck with the places mentioned in the other post. Good food can be terribly sparse in the really central portions of ENY with the highlights generally appearing on the northern outskirts (ei. along the el.)
I'd imagine either the Caribbean place mentioned or Joe's El Salvadoran would work well. Worst comes to worst you must be able to find a deli that does Boar's Head sandwiches.
