Farm/tours around MD for Balto foodies

We would love to take a tour of a local farm(s) this summer to enhance our knowledge of food, growing, and organic processes (if available). Produce, dairy, multi-use- any kind of farm within reasonable driving distance for a Saturday day trip from Baltimore. Does anyone have any suggestions? Many that I have looked at seem more geared for children- hay rides, face painting & such. We'd be happy with a pick your own, market, tour and/or orientation. Any ideas?

I think South Mountain Creamery in Middletown is open for visits (milking) in the afternoon.

Suggest you talk to the folks at One Straw Farms (www.onestrawfarm.com), who have a CSA and seem to be interested in talking to their customers.
