The Cape with a Kid

Heading to Eastham for a week and we have a 20 month old little girl that is good out 90% of the time. We are not looking to spend a ton of money to go out to eat but want good food too in a place that is kid friendly. We will be traveling up to Province town one or two times also. Please send any ideas you may have. We are looking for lunch and dinner ideas. Thank you!

  1. hi there,
you should probably post on the new england board; you'll find you get more responses.
as the mom of a 2.5 yr old, i will say that probably 80% of the places on the cape are kid-friendly..it's more a matter of what type of food you want to eat, where you want to go....once you have that figured out it should be pretty easy to find some good places to eat. enjoy!

    1. Hi,
You may want to checkout Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet. Very good the times we have gone there in the past. We haven't dined there yet this season. I believe it serves breakfast, too. Enjoy.

Mac's Shack in Wellfleet for sushi and fish
PB Boulangerie in Wellfleet for French pastries, Croque Monsieur, amazing hot chocolate (even in the summer) and coffee or lunch
Friendly Fisherman in E'Ham for lobstah rolls
        Arnolds for whatever

We took our 2.5 year old and our 1 year old to the Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet last weekend for breakfast. We went 2 days in a row- both Saturday and Sunday am. We were there fairly early on both days so it was not very crowded yet. The small early breakfast crowd that was there did not mind our kids as they were there with their own kids too. The food was great, the service was great and kid friendly. Dining on the enclosed front porch was awesome. I recommend.
