Boysenberry season in the Central Valley?

I'm a Turlock native who has just moved back to the area after living in the East Bay and the DC area. I remember picking fresh boysenberries when I was little (the late 70s/early 80s) but I haven't seen a boysenberry patch around here for quite a while. Anyone know where I might find one and what the picking season is? I know it's a really short season. I'd give anything for a flat of those beauties!

Thanks!

Sorry to say but I believe the season is over already; I haven't seen a flat of boysenberries at the Farmer's Market in about 3 weeks. I usually buy mine from Simonian Farms here in Fresno but I remember there was a recent thread about a berry picking jubilee in the Modesto area about a month ago.
