Bouchon opening hours?
My friend and I wil be visiting some wineries in the Macon on a friday morning/afternoon, and then I have to fly out of Lyon at 8PM, so I'm looking for a place to eat a late lunch in Lyon. I see plenty of info on here about great places to go, so I don't think I need any help with that, but what I can't seem to figure out is if Bouchons are the types of places that serve food all day, or do they close between lunch and dinner? Anybody have any idea? Thanks!
Nick
Very few places serve all day in France. Bouchons usually don't.

Agree as always with Soup. An alternative is Les Halles covered market which has both stalls and restos (great oysters) and where you might be able to get stuff to eat in or around it.
The Rhone-Alpes website says "The "Halles de Lyon" all day long and all year long. You can have a good meal (mâchon as it is called in the region) in the bouchons (typical restaurants of Lyon), and which are installed around the shops and where you can taste oysters, with a "pot" of Mâcon (white wine) at the stall of the oyster sellers".

I agree with John that Les Halles covered market is probably your best bet for a late lunch. All the places I know of in Centre Ville stop serving at 2 pm.
