Thank you everyone. I went today, and it was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, one of the people with us wanted to eat inside as it was a little cool. The food was good, I had the cinnamon french toast and it was very good. If I went again, I would definitely eat outside, inside is a little dingy, and you are right next to the cooks.

Was there again for breakfast this morning, lovely weather but took a sweater, which came in handy until our table was bathed in sunshine. Having a cover-up available (at the very least in the car) is always a good idea, especially when down near the beach. Mornings have been cool and breezy up 'til now (rather a bit late for the traditional June Gloom we usually have !) but looks like sunny weather from this point on. If you got stuck sitting in the covered area, that's a shame - it isn't the nicest spot for sure.
Had the Crab Benedict, which had a generous portion of avocado over the sauce, eggs and crab on English muffin halves. It doesn't look gigantic on the plate, but I found it VERY filling and I skipped lunch since we ate about 9 a.m. I appreciate their option of substituting spinach (or fruit) for the potatoes. They serve it with a lemon wedge and it is quite tasty that way. I wasn't the only one - the guy behind us also ordered spinach. (Actually, lots of people do, based on our many past visits). Great way to add in another serving of veggies while avoiding the carbs in the potatoes! Worked off some of the calories with a walk around the marina. Sure, some people go just for the drinks, but everyone there this morning had food too. To each, their own.
Another place that offers spinach as a side dish or substitution is Main Street Cafe in Old Town Seal Beach. Good breakfasts there too. Nice to take a walk down the pier afterwards, or through the surrounding neighborhood.

I go for the Bloody Marys, Mimosas and relaxing on the patio with a view of the marina. Definitely not a bad way to spend a few relaxing hours on a weekend. The food is perfectly fine, although not something I would drive out of my way for (I prefer the menu at the Coffee Cup, also in Long Beach)
