Looking for great roast chicken in Arlington or Alexandria, VA

We are looking for a moderately priced, quiet restaurant that serves great roast chicken within a 30 minute drive of Pentagon City, VA. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you are looking for american-style roast chicken, Sweetwater Tavern is good (in Merrifield at the intersection of Gallows and 50). If peruvian is what you are looking for, Pollo Rico in Arlington is great, but not quiet.

I like Carribean Grill, but if you don't want Peruvian or Caribbean you might try Liberty Tavern, they have a roast amish chicken that is very good. Huge portion, one order could probably feed two people.

There are dozens of Peruvian (and thereabouts) rotisserie chicken places in the area, each of which has a fierce set of defenders and detractors. What they all have in common is:

Usually crisp-skinned juicy inside marinated chicken
Simple sides (the biggest difference is that some have yuca and some don't)
Counter self-service, disposable plates, plastic utensils
Cheap - usually $5-$6 for a quarter chicken

If you want a nice sit-down roast chicken dinner, there are lots of places. It's not that hard to do. Majestic Cafe in Alexandria comes to mind, but I'll bet that any of the nicer Crystal City restaurants that service the hotel dwellers do a fine roast chicken.

Crispy & Juicy has amazing Peruvian grilled chicken...with a couple of great sauces....its not a fancy, place though
