Am going to Per se for the first time for lunch. It is my wife's b-day. She & i have both been wanting to go there for a long time. VERY EXCITED!!!

One other thing - ask for the donuts and coffee. Its a dessert that's not on the menu - definitely worth it.

You should also ask if they have the" Oysters and Pearls". I believe the dish has Island Creek Oysters, pearl tapioca, and sturgeon caviar. I had it at the French Laundry and it was one of the better dishes I had for lunch there imo.

yep - they definitely have it at Per Se, opened the meal with it when I was there. Was sublime...

Be sure to ask for the Oysters and Pearls. Even if it's not on the lunch menu they'll probably let you substitute it in at no extra cost, and it's phenomenal.
