Night It Up Food Festival

squingy Jul 10, 2010 04:34 AM

I am thinking of going later on today, but wanted to find a little more information about this. All I could find were a couple of posts under secret food festivals. I would like to know how the food was ( the cost as well) , parking spaces and how were the crowds. From the website, it shows they sell okonomiyaki, takoyaki and stinky tofu, 3 things I've always wanted to try but never had a chance to. Thanks for the replies in advance and here's the website for the festival.

This festival has been around for years. The cost of the food is low but don't expect too much there. Stinky tofu is ok, it is more the Taiwanese version, line up with be huge. The okonomiyaki and takoyaki are made by amateur which cannot be compared with any good ones (but there is really not any good one in GTA). It is lively and very crowded there.

Speaking of takoyaki and okonomiyaki have you tried the ones at T&T at middlefield? I think those are the best ones I've tried so far, I don't even like okonomiyaki before until I've tried there's.

I tried it a few years ago at that T&T, found the quality very bad, maybe it has improved. I have not been back after that time.
