Sushi with a view?

My husband just got a big promotion at work. To celebrate he wants to go out for sushi at a place with outdoor dining, ideally with a nice view. I can't think of any place off the top of my head other than Sushi on the Rock in La Jolla - which would not be our first choice for sushi. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

  1. Here's a yelp link to sushi bars with outdoor seating:

Don't know how many of these actually have a view, or if the "outdoor seating" listing is accurate for all of them, but you can probably call and check. Can't vouch for any personally, but I heard Taka is good.

    1. Not the best sushi, but a great view, and outside dining, is the Fish MArket downtown.

You could also have a great time on the patio of Roys, below the Marriot, near Seaport Village. You park at the MArriot and they wil partially validate.

      1. Try SHIMBASHI Izakaya in the Plaza Del Mar. It's got a great patio and happy hour.

That is probably a great idea for a place with a view.

Love the area. Sucks there's no view right now. July where are you, June is long gone!!!

              Good choice wanker..
Second, would be the Fish Market is fresh and it sits bayfront..
Get a room at the US Grant Hotel..its $169 a night on expedia for a 5* resort to keep the party going!

            2. Tomiko has a great view and big windows over looking the water.
