A little late, but looking for lunch in the Adams Ave. area. I know Jaynes, Ritual Tavern, Farmhouse are not open for lunch and they would be my first choices. Anything else good around here? Casual or upper scale will do--any nationality.
Thanks!

Saltan Banoo, which is off Park Ave and Adams, is one of my favorite spots. It is Persian cuisine, with healthful meat and vegetarian options.

For Mexican, you could also try El Zarape. Their specialty are the scallop tacos, which I haven't tried yet.

    Salud.

Demilles, is sit down Italian is open for lunch. They have pizza, pasta and sandwiches. I like the eggplant parm sandwich. It is a great neighborhood place. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Adams Ave. Grill is also open for lunch. They offer prefixe lunch specials that are very good, and they include a dessert.

If you like Vietnames food, Tao is also very good. Tao is inexpensive, I would recommend the curry chicken. They servings are generous and served nicely. They include a salad and ice cream with tropical fruit. Tao makes all of their own tofu and soy products.
