Apple Cider Vinegar - does it ever go bad?

The Oracle Jul 9, 2010 09:14 AM

I feel silly even typing this question - but does vinegar go bad? I have an unopened (I think) bottle in my cupboard - it's easily 3-4 years old... It looks a little murky... do you think I can still use it?

The acidity prevents the vinegar from going bad (spoiling).
The murkiness is probably the mother trying to reestablish it's self.
Yes, it can still be used.
