Lunch spot after wedding dress shopping...
Going wedding shopping with my mom, so i figure, i might as well make it a girly day and have lunch somewhere nice. Nothing too expensive, 15 - 25 mains and not Asian. We will be around the GarmentDistrict/Chelsea, wouldn't mind traveling by subway, but would prefer to keep it walkable.

Ah, yes! How could I forget Allegretti? A favorite of ours, especially for lunch. In addition to their a la carte menu, they offer a lunch prix fixe for $28, a bargain for cuisine of such high caliber.

What day of the week will this be? Some restaurants serve lunch only Mon.-Fri. Some serve a brunch menu on the weekends.
Gascogne is one of our favorite French bistro. The garden is thoroughly charming. Lunch is served Mon.-Fri. On the weekends, they serve a brunch, and the menu is different from the lunch menu.

We recently went to Bottino, 10th Av., b/t 24th & 25th Sts., for the first time. They also have a lovely garden. Delicious food and very good service. Lunch is served 7 days a week (no brunch menu on weekends).
