Good places for breakfast in downtown Vancouver?

Going to Vancouver in early August for 4 days, wondering where the best place to go for some good breakfast?

Any suggestions would be great!

I went to Patisserie Lebeau for some fruit on Belgian waffles, not bad. I'd do it again.

Grove Inn Restaurant (Denman @ Comox)

Sylvia Hotel (Beach @ Gilford) ........ for the view, the view !

Twisted Fork Bistro has a great brunch. Popular on this board is Cafe Medina.

Breakfast downtown might be a bit challenging. Would brunch work? If so, ck's suggestions are worthy. Haven't been yet but if La Brasserie's brunch offerings follow dinner's lead, this should be worthy. Also hearing good things about both Habit and Latitude, but they are over on Main Street, not downtown.

Thanks for the replies. Brunch is fine, we're on holiday so wont be getting up too early (although we're coming from the UK, so we will probably be waking up very early for a few days!). Cafe Medina looks very much like what we're after. Habit also looks great. Searching for the North American breakfast with a twist, looks like we've found it.
